- I have a PCMCIA Sportster 28.8 running Windows 95 RAS for my Internet
- provider. I couldn't get it to connect above 19,200 until I added a
- string which disabled V.8. Does anyone know what V.8 is? USR says
- that also disables V.34, and I'm connecting with V.FC.
- However I get a good connection when I disable V.FC. How does V.FC
- and V.34 coexist? Is it possible to carry a V.34 connection without
- V.FC? Please excuse the ignorance-I'm going through a learning curve.
- All replies appreciated.
